The shower. This is the reason I bothered writing this review - the shower. I mean, how hard can it be to have a shower that is easy and intuitive to use, that provides both hand and top showerheads, that reacts quickly to changes in temperature and that has a convenient shelf for shampoo? And yet these guys have it, and almost any other hotel I've been too - doesn't. Kudos. Other than that, it's a regular chain hotel, although the loby is better decorated than other hotels of this chain.

The Ibis is well situated, being easy to access by road yet a short walk from the restaurants in the old town. We were cycling, exploring the Doubs and Loue river valleys and found it easy to cycle out of town on the riverside cycle tracks. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. Everything was very clean, beds comfy and the shower decent. the off-street parking was appreciated and there was even a secure cycle store.

Excellent location near the old town center with most tourist attractions in walking distance. Very helpful staff. We opted for car parking for days 2 and 3 because 8 Euro is very good value for a very central location in Besançon (right outside the trafrfic restricted area). Very good interent connection. We will be back!

Very easy to reach by car with its own car park I had my dog with me that was no problem at all. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. If I am in the area again, this hotel will be my first choice.
